We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to join a client team based at Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital. This role sits within a busy facilities management environment supporting the delivery of essential services across a large healthcare estate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance and service requests are logged, managed, and progressed efficiently, providing a high level of customer service and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing incoming calls, emails, and service requests
- Logging and tracking maintenance jobs through internal systems
- Allocating work orders to engineers and subcontractors
- Monitoring job progress to ensure SLA targets are met
- Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting administrative processes including reporting and purchase orders
- Assisting with complaint handling and query resolution
- Previous experience in administration, helpdesk, or customer service roles
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional telephone manner and strong attention to detail
- Experience within FM, maintenance, or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential
Shift rota: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 11:00am - 7:00pm. Some weekend and bank holiday working may be required.
Additional Information:Full training provided. DBS check required for this role. Immediate start available subject to checks.
