We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer with strong organisational skills to lead specialised engineering projects. If you enjoy working collaboratively across teams and delivering results on time and within budget, this role based in Derry~Londonderry could be the perfect fit.

Location: Must be based in Northern Ireland

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing project programmes and budgets alongside internal teams
  • Coordinating procurement of materials and equipment to meet engineering specifications
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to monitor progress and quality
  • Conducting site visits to ensure production meets design and technical standards
  • Overseeing quality checks, inspections, and documentation before site delivery
  • Organising logistics, site preparation, health & safety documentation, and installation activities
  • Maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting contract administration and cost reporting

You’ll take ownership of specialist engineering projects, working closely with design, production, commercial teams, and external suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Do you have:

  • A minimum 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline?
  • At least 2 years’ experience in project engineering or a similar role?
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage project programmes and budgets?
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project?
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport?
  • Willingness to be based in the North West of Northern Ireland and travel within the UK as required?
