The Role As HR Business Partner, you ll act as a trusted advisor to managers across an assigned directorate, supporting them through the full range of people management issues. Day to day, you will: Provide proactive, specialist HR advice on policies, procedures, terms and conditions and employment law Support managers through discipline, grievance, attendance management, dignity at work and capability processes Take the lead on recruitment activity, including chairing selection panels and advising on current legislation Manage employee relations casework from start to finish, including confidential record-keeping Liaise with trade unions and staff representatives through local consultation mechanisms Support Freedom of Information and Data Protection request responses Provide cover for the HR Manager on a rotational basis Represent the Council at Employment Tribu...
