Key Responsibilities- Carry out condition surveys and repair assessments across housing and corporate assets.
- Prepare scopes of works, specifications, and schedules.
- Take responsibility for compliance oversight, including statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage repairs, maintenance, and planned works.
- Support procurement activities, including obtaining quotes and potential tendering.
- Act as Contract Administrator using JCT and NEC contracts.
- Liaise with contractors, internal teams, residents, and stakeholders.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme.
- Maintain accurate asset and stock condition data.
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor.
- Local authority and/or housing experience preferred.
- Experience handling compliance-related matters.
- HNC minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of HHSRS.
- Strong understanding of building construction and pathology.
- Experience with procurement and contractor management.
- Confident working independently and supporting junior staff.
Additional Information: Mixed portfolio of housing and non-housing corporate assets. Site visits required. Suitable for someone able to start quickly and add value.
