We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrician to join a Facilities Management team supporting a portfolio of Fire Service properties across Liverpool and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a vital public sector environment, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure operational buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully functional.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across a variety of Fire Service buildings.
- Undertake electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance works.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately.
- Liaise professionally with site staff and Facilities Management teams.
- Support compliance activities and statutory inspections.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification.
Desirable
- Experience working within Facilities Management environments.
- Electrical testing and inspection qualifications.
- Knowledge of public sector or emergency service estates.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
