Part-Time Cleaners (x2) - Temporary | Belfast City Council Donegall Square, Belfast City Centre BT1 5GS £13.45 per hour (PAYE) 16 hours per week, part-time Starting Monday 19 October 2026 Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting two part-time Cleaners to join Belfast City Council's Facilities Management team in the city centre. You'll help keep council buildings clean, safe and welcoming for staff and visitors. What you'll be doing: General daily cleaning of offices, corridors and other areas Washing and polishing fixtures and fittings Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors and stairs, and vacuuming carpets Using powered cleaning equipment such as floor polishers Daily cleaning of toilets Helping at council functions when needed, including cloakroom and kitchen dutiesWhat you'll need: Experience of cleaning, including using cleaning equipment Experience of using and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, in line with health and safety rules Good customer care and people skills The ability to work on your own and as part of a team A reliable, hardworking approach What's on offer: £13.45 per hour, paid weekly Part-time hours Holiday pay accrued in line with statutory entitlement Pension auto-enrolment (subject to eligibility) The chance to work with one of Northern Ireland's largest public sector employersYou must be eligible to work in the UK.
