We are a growing consultancy dedicated to helping organisations become stronger, safer, and more sustainable. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Assistant to join our team and help us grow our client base while strengthening relationships with existing customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with early experience in sales, marketing, or customer service who wants to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle incoming enquiries and arrange sales meetings for Directors.
- Generate and follow up proposals.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (ZOHO).
- Research prospects, generate leads, and manage the end-to-end sales process.
- Produce reports and contribute to management insights.
- Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and contribute ideas to improve sales and marketing processes.
Skills & Experience:
- Some experience in a sales, marketing, or business support role (B2B preferred).
- Confident communicator over phone, email, and in person.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to follow through.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Driving licence and access to a car.
- Interest in quality, safety, or sustainability is a plus (training provided).
