Accommodation Officer
We are looking for a Key Worker Accommodation Officer to provide frontline customer service to residents and support the smooth running of key worker accommodation.
25hours a week, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for tenant and prospective resident enquiries.
- Support applications, bookings, move-ins and move-outs, including right-to-rent checks.
- Maintain accurate occupancy and tenant records.
- Process and track maintenance requests and liaise with contractors.
- Carry out property inspections and health & safety checks.
- Support rent, deposit, direct debit and invoice administration.
- Work with the Marketing and Lettings Officer to maximise occupancy.
- Liaise with NHS Trusts, universities and external partners.
- Respond to customer concerns and support complaint resolution.
- Ensure accommodation remains safe, compliant and well maintained.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and administrative processes.
- Experience using housing management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in accommodation, housing, property management or hospitality is desirable.
- Knowledge of tenancy agreements, housing regulations and compliance is desirable.
