We are recruiting a Bid Manager to join a leading law firm in Manchester or Birmingham. The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success in bid management.
The Bid Manager will lead and manage legal bids from initial qualification to final submission. This will involve working with the firm’s partners and colleagues within the marketing and business development team to develop compelling proposals, market and manage the bid process and coordinate bid responses.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding stakeholder management skills and proven experience in a bid management role, ideally from a professional services background. They will also have excellent writing skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and the confidence to present complex material in an engaging manner.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the legal bid process, from qualification to submission
- Liaise with partners to develop compelling proposals
- Draft bid documents, presentations and other materials
- Manage the bid process and coordinate bid responses
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure bids are completed on time
- Track and monitor bid progress and performance
- Review and analyse bid data
- Monitor competitor bids
