Location: The role is home based and covering a patch in Somerset and Dorset, there will also be travel to the West Region office in Dorchester on a monthly basis.

About the role
As one of our Housing Officers, you will be responsible for delivering housing services directly to the residents on your patch reporting into a Regional Housing Manager. You will deliver a great range of services to our residents, including:
- Managing rent accounts
- Managing anti‑social behaviour
- Letting empty homes
- Resident engagement and community events
- Managing estate services and undertaking health and safety inspections
- Tenancy management

About you
You will need to be customer focussed and enjoy getting out and about meeting our residents. You will be able to work remotely and be able to manage your time effectively. You will be organised, have an eye for detail and enjoy ‘getting stuck in’ to resolve resident issues, working in partnership with Hastoe colleagues and external organisations. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle as all of our Housing Officer patches cover a large geography. You will be as committed as we are in developing you in the role with access to training and career development. You’ll also need:
- Previous experience in housing management or a customer service background
- Knowledge of rent collection processes
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong team player
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Access to your own car for business use
