About the role
You will enjoy working with people and be able to use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our residents. You will achieve this by being a valued first point of contact for our residents while on the estate, maintaining and improving the estate grounds and monitoring services provided. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Keeping the scheme clean and tidy both inside and outside
- Maintaining the appearance of the communal gardens
- Carrying out litter picking and bin area maintenance
- Helping residents, contractors and Hastoe colleagues on a daily basis
- Conducting and recording regular fire checks and ensuring they are accurately recorded
About you
You will be working alone so need to be self-motivated to carry out your duties. You’ll take pride in doing a good job and keeping the scheme in a clean and tidy condition.
You will be friendly and approachable, acting as the ‘eyes and ears’ of Hastoe on the scheme and regularly interacting with residents and contractors.
Previous experience in a similar role is necessary. We’re looking for the right person, with a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and be part of our team.
Annual Leave: Starting at 24 days, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time) and 1.5 days complimentary leave, along with the option to purchase additional leave.
Enhanced Pension: Hastoe\’s employer contributions start at 5% and are based on matching of your own contribution level, plus 2%, up to a maximum of 8% employer contribution.
