This is a great opportunity to take on a rewarding role within a dynamic and passionate team making a real difference to young carers' lives. Up to 37 hours per week, part-time hours will be considered.

Salary: £24,496 per annum, based on 37 hours per week.

Contract term: Permanent.

Primary Location: Eastbourne with some travel within East Sussex. Hybrid and/or remote working available by agreement.

As a Young Carer Support Worker, you’ll be part of our dedicated Young Carer Support Team, providing information, support, advice, and guidance to young carers and their families across East Sussex. This includes providing one-to-one and group support by phone, online, and face-to-face, as well as working with our partners in the NHS, Social Care, and the voluntary sector. You will be required to provide intensive and ongoing support to young carers with their transition to adult services, particularly the Young Adult Carers (YAC) service.
