Role overview

As our Supplier Relationship Executive, you’ll be providing deep industry knowledge and supporting the implementation and ongoing management of the Hastings own building repair network. There will be a specific focus on successful contractor onboarding and management across UK regions, ensuring the delivery of good quality building repair works, along with great customer outcomes and optimal commercial performance.

Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  • Supporting the Building Network Manager with the implementation and operational management of our building repair network.
  • Coordinating and managing contractor onboarding, ongoing assurance requirements and undertaking regular contractor governance (including monthly and quarterly management meetings) – you’ll also be organising, coordinating and attending contractor and industry events where required.
  • Implementing and maintaining a strong contractor management framework for robust oversight of customer outcomes from contractor services.
  • Using contractor, market and system MI to provide deep analysis on operational and commercial performance, identifying key improvement opportunities and delivering these through to fruition.
  • Working closely with the contractor network to build strong relationships and a clear view of individual contractor performance to support the implementation and delivery of improvements.
  • Creating and maintaining clear and straightforward network performance reporting for the team and stakeholders at all levels – liaising with stakeholders to ensure strong feedback loops and communication channels.

Essential skills/experience:

  • Extensive experience with a national building repair network.
  • Strong market knowledge of building repair costs and commercial dynamics within insurance claims.
  • Strong analytical ability with demonstrable experience of working with MI and translating to a variety of different stakeholders – able to tailor communication and approach.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence change.
