As an analyst, you’ll use data, analytics, and your own curiosity to influence business strategy and customer outcomes. From day one, you’ll join a tailored learning journey with expert-led training, hands-on projects, and guidance from experienced mentors.
From day one you will be welcomed onboard to our Pricing academy, a structured learning and development program designed to equip graduate analysts with the technical, commercial and strategic skills required to succeed in the world of insurance pricing.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in data analysis and pricing tools, develop expertise in market modelling and regulatory insight, and learn how to make strategic decisions that balance customer value with business performance.
Whether you’re new to insurance or already analytically minded, our Pricing Academy will give you the foundation, confidence, and connections to thrive in the world of insurance pricing—launching your career with the skills and support you need for success.
It is important to note that this is not a traditional graduate programme but an opportunity to join us in an entry level role. We have roles across Risk Pricing, Footprint Defence, Account Management and more.
What You’ll Do- Analyse risk and pricing data, claims experience, and market trends to uncover insights that shape pricing strategy
- Develop coding and analytical skills (Python, SQL, Excel) to deliver innovative solutions and integrate new data sources
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and expand our competitive footprint through pricing and underwriting adjustments
- Monitor key performance indicators and mix of customers, using management information and portfolio analysis to drive decisions
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and commercial teams to deliver actionable insights and support rate change processes from concept to delivery
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects, presenting findings to senior leaders and driving continuous improvement in pricing models
- Recent graduates with a strong foundation in numerical and analytical subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or similar. Prior experience as an analyst in insurance or a related industry is also welcome
- Comfortable working with statistical and pricing data, with an aptitude for learning advanced tools
- Knowledge or experience with analytical programming environments (Python, SQL, Excel) or a willingness to develop these skills
- Curious, inquisitive mindset with a proactive approach to driving change and thinking outside the box
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence to share ideas and challenge constructively
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm to learn, adapt, and make a real impact in a dynamic environment
