We provide insurance to nearly four million customers, but we know there’s even bigger opportunity out there. Our CIO team plays a crucial role in this journey, working on cutting-edge projects that enhance our digital presence and improve customer engagement.

As a Junior Release Engineer you will be supporting the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines), assisting with deployments across development, test, and production environments, collaborating with development and QA teams to deliver new features and releases, helping to plan and execute software releases, including rollback processes, monitoring deployments and resolving environment-related issues, and identifying opportunities to automate manual processes.

Skills we would love you to have:

  • Some experience in an IT, DevOps, or software environment (internship, placement, or junior role)
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms, ideally Azure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. Azure Pipelines)
  • Exposure to version control systems such as GitHub
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Understanding of web applications and software development fundamentals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
