Overview
As our Supply Manager across Home Claims, you will develop and manage partnerships with key suppliers to deliver strong customer and business outcomes.
You will lead strategic supply management initiatives, focusing on the commercial elements of supplier services, and use spend insight to identify and deliver material cost reductions in partnership with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver strategic supply management initiatives, including internal operational workstreams.
- Build a deep understanding of supply chain spend to identify material cost reduction opportunities while protecting customer, operational, and regulatory outcomes.
- Use data and MI to provide a clear view of supply chain costs and commercial performance, enabling identification and delivery of savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with Supplier Relationship Managers and suppliers to implement changes while maintaining strong partnerships, services, and customer outcomes.
- Lead key supply management initiatives through to successful delivery, building and tracking a savings pipeline and benefits realisation.
- Drive quick and effective performance improvements with suppliers, manage improvement plans, and maintain strong partner relationships for optimal performance and mutual growth.
- Work with internal stakeholders and SMEs to review supplier risk, resiliency, control, and assurance requirements, delivering actions and evidence with suppliers.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to build strategic partnerships and arrangements aligned with customer, operational, and commercial objectives in Home Claims.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive experience working with data and MI in a commercial analysis capacity within an insurance claims background.
- Extensive experience managing suppliers/supply chain across a Home Claims function.
- Demonstrable experience delivering key workstreams and material commercial improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence and drive change.
