As a Commercial Performance Analyst within Home Claims, you will partner with Commercial Managers to drive data‑driven decision making. You will translate complex data into actionable insights that improve cost, operational performance and customer outcomes, and help advance the use of data, automation and AI across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of performance insights across Home Claims, ensuring clear visibility of key drivers of cost, leakage, supplier performance and customer outcomes.
- Use SQL and Snowflake to source, structure and analyze large, complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility and optimization.
- Identify and quantify value‑creation opportunities through deep dives and advanced analytics, supporting Commercial Managers in prioritizing and delivering initiatives, and track performance.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques, including AI and predictive modeling, to improve forecasting, triage, reserving and cost control.
- Partner across Commercial, Operations, Supplier and Analytics teams to align data, insight and delivery, and use management information to challenge, optimize and improve commercial outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, data structures and reporting automation to enhance efficiencies and reduce manual effort.
- Present insights clearly and effectively using data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis within a commercial, operational or claims environment, ideally within Home Claims or insurance.
- Strong technical capability in SQL, data platforms such as Snowflake, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Advanced analytical skills, including experience with AI and predictive modeling.
- Commercial mindset, able to link analysis to tangible business outcomes such as cost reduction, efficiency and customer experience improvement.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence across a matrix organization.
- Curiosity and genuine interest in applying AI, automation and new analytical techniques to improve performance.
