Role Overview
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will investigate suspected fraudulent third‑party claims, primarily focusing on credit hire fraud. You will gather evidence, conduct interviews, review engineer reports, assess vehicle damage, and liaise with panel solicitors to manage claims effectively and achieve commercial outcomes for Hastings Direct and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Investigate a majority caseload of suspected credit hire fraud claims and other fraud types.
- Gather all relevant evidence, including contacting parties and representatives, conducting interviews, and reviewing reports.
- Maintain a live caseload of claims through the entire lifecycle.
- Liaise with panel solicitors and other legal suppliers to secure favourable commercial outcomes.
- Proactively manage caseloads with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ensure fair and reasonable outcomes for customers while meeting organisational expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience handling high‑value claims involving motor fraud (third‑party).
- Background in managing non‑delegated litigation.
- Proven ability to conduct verbal interviews and produce accurate notation.
- Passion and knowledge of credit hire fraud.
