We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Spa Reception Team at the exclusive Culloden Estate and Spa.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. The salary for this exciting position is £23,660.00 per annum.

About The Role

To meet and greet guests at the Spa ensuring an efficient, professional, and friendly welcome.

Responsibilities

  • To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the Spa and wider hotel, and the amenities and attractions in the locality.
  • To be aware of all services and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
  • To check in guests on arrival and check them out at the end of their experience, ensuring that the correct procedures are followed for receiving payment.
  • To orient guests with the Spa/Healthclub facilities.
  • To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.
  • To balance bank, cash, foreign currency and all transactions at the end of your shift.
  • To answer enquiries from guests and external callers via telephone and email.
  • To assist guests with any reasonable request for services.
  • Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution or escalate where required.
  • To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Report any technical and maintenance needs.
  • To ensure the security of reception and storage areas is maintained.
  • To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.
  • Any other duties as required by Management.

Qualifications

  • Good communication, numeracy and IT skills
  • Customer care experience
  • Smart well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure and be a team player
  • A right to work within the United Kingdom
  • Educated to GCSE Standard or the equivalent including English and Maths is desirable

Desirable

  • Reception experience ideally gained in a hotel
