The rate of pay for this casual position ranges from £9.00ph-£12.25ph depending on age

About The Role
To be responsible for serving food & beverages for the greatest enjoyment of our guests. To maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the service areas according to Hastings Standards.
- To serve food and beverages to guests ensuring the highest standard of service and that all guest needs and expectations are met. Typical tasks include, clearing and setting tables, taking orders, serving food and beverages and taking payments.
- To ensure all cash, charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly
- Greeting guests and responding to their queries
- To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately
- To always maintain the security of stock areas, immediately reporting any breaches.
- To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as required by management.
About You
We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Food and Beverage Team will provide you with full training.
