We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Food & Beverage Team at the exclusive Europa Hotel. Under the inspiring leadership of our Conference & Banqueting Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. We want to help you to develop your skills and offer an extensive range of learning and development opportunities.
The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. Hours vary to cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening functions. The Salary for this full-time position is £23,478.

About The Role
- To serve and assist guests within the function/meetings area.
- To provide the highest standards of service to guests, ensuring all guests' needs and expectations are met.
- To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and to be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- To set up function and meeting rooms in accordance with guest requirements.
- To ensure that function rooms and guest areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
- To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.
- To ensure that any complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and in an efficient manner and reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
- Any other duties as required by management.
About You
- We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Food and Beverage Team will provide you with full training.
Required Criteria
- Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
- Good Command of English Language.
- Must be educated to GCSE level or the equivalent with Grades A-C in English and Maths.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have a professional appearance.
