Under the inspiring leadership of our Executive Head Housekeeper, Lisa Surgenor, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. Hours of work are 3pm-11pm. The salary for this full time position is £23,478 per annum. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Evening room preparation including removing bed spread and arranging bedding for sleep, closing curtains/blinds.
  • Refreshing towels and toiletries as required and providing amenities such as bottled water, slippers and chocolates.
  • Adjust lighting to a softer, relaxing level.
  • Cleaning and servicing guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to the highest standards.
  • Stripping and making beds, vacuuming, mopping, and ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.
  • Using equipment and materials efficiently, promptly reporting any maintenance or equipment issues.
  • Safeguarding the security of guest rooms and stock by following procedures and handling lost property in line with company policies.
  • Greeting guests when necessary and addressing any questions or requests they may have.
  • Reporting guest concerns to the Supervisor/Manager and ensuring that they are addressed with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff.
  • Any other duties as required by management.

Required Criteria:

  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
  • Good Command of English Language.
  • Must have good communication skills and a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Must be educated to GCSE standard or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
