Food & Beverage Assistant in Holywood

When we work together, we can do amazing things. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to support our Lough Bar Team at the exclusive Culloden Estate & Spa. Supported by our Beverage Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills, and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

This is a full-time position, five days out of seven and will be based on a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required. About The Role

• To be responsible for the presentation of the bar and the service of beverages and snacks for greatest enjoyment of our guests.
• To maintain the cleanliness of service areas according to Hastings Standards.
• To serve food and beverages to guests ensuring the highest standard of service and that all guest needs and expectations are met.
• Typical tasks include, bar stocks, preparing and serving beverages, taking orders and payments.
• Greeting guests and responding to their queries.
• To ensure all cash, charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly.
• To use equipment and bar pumps efficiently, to maintain proper measures and ensure minimum wastage.
• To always maintain the security of stock areas, immediately reporting any breaches.
• To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
• To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as required by management.

• Previous hospitality experience in a quality establishment
