Under the leadership of our Inspiring Executive Head Chef, Kyle Greer, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. Typical shift patterns are 8am to 4pm, 2pm to 10pm. The salary for this full-time position is £23,769 per annum. About The Role

  • To be responsible for the preparation and presentation of meals for the greatest enjoyment of the guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel.
  • To assist other chefs in the kitchen area.
  • To provide the highest standards of preparation and presentation for guests needs and to ensure expectations are met.
  • To ensure that the kitchen areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
  • To ensure all equipment and materials are used in correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
  • To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
  • To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that guest dissatisfactions are dealt with efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
  • Any other duties as required by Management.

About You

  • We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Kitchen Team will provide you with full training.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A clean and tidy appearance.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Work well under pressure and be a team player.
  • A right to work within the United Kingdom.
