When we work together we can do amazing things. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our housekeeping team at the exclusive Europa Hotel. Under the inspiring leadership of our Head Housekeeper, Steven Williams, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.
The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. Hours vary, but typical shift patterns include 6am to 2pm, 7am to 3pm, 8am to 4pm - with later hours at the weekend. The salary for this full time position is £23,478.00 per annum. To ensure that all areas of the Housekeeping function are cleaned and maintained for the greatest enjoyment of the guests and maximum resource efficiency for the hotel. To clean and service bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas of the hotel. Typical tasks include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, stripping and making beds. To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately. To always maintain the security of bedrooms and stock, immediately reporting any breaches and dealing with lost property in accordance with company procedures. To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity. To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests. Greeting guests and responding to their queries. To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty. To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures. Any other duties as required by management.
We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Housekeeping Team will provide you with full training.
