Under the leadership of our Spa Manager, Niamh Rice, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. The successful candidate must be flexible to cover the variety of appointments offered to our clients and guests. Applications are particularly welcome from those with availability on weekends. The rate of pay for this casual position is £9 to £12.25 per hour depending on your age. This is expected to increase in April 2026. About The Role:

  • To be responsible for carrying out Spa treatments for the greatest enjoyment of guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel.
  • To deliver treatments to required standards, maintaining the dignity of guests at all times.
  • To provide the highest standard of service to guests, ensuring the expectations of a 5-star Hotel are met.
  • To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
  • To maintain the presentation of the treatment and preparation rooms in accordance with Hastings standards.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to ensure harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
  • To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
  • To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
  • Any other duties as required by management.

Required Criteria:

  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom
  • NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and numeracy skills
  • A professional appearance
  • Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service

Desired Criteria:

  • Previous experience gained in a similar position
  • Educated to GCSE standard or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths
