We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic people to assist our Food & Beverage Team at the Cultra Inn on the grounds of the 5-star Culloden Estate & Spa. As one of County Downs finest bars and restaurants, we are committed to providing the freshest and most mouth-watering menus. From breakfast to dinner, we use only the finest locally sourced ingredients to create memorable dishes that showcase the best local, seasonal produce.
Supported by the Inn Manager, Gary Moran, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills, and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. You may be offered a variety of shifts depending on business needs and we expect these positions to be required for the summer season. The rate of pay for this casual work is £9.55 to £12.75 per hour, depending on your age. About The Role
- To be responsible for the presentation of guest areas and the service of food, beverages, and snacks for greatest enjoyment of our guests.
- To maintain the cleanliness of service areas according to Hastings Standards.
- To serve food and beverages to guests ensuring the highest standard of service and that all guest needs and expectations are met.
- Typical tasks include, bar stocks, serving food and beverages, taking orders and taking payments.
- Greeting guests and responding to their queries in a courteous and professional manner.
- To ensure all cash, charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly.
- To always maintain the security of stock areas, immediately reporting any breaches.
- To be knowledgeable about the offerings available at the Cultra Inn and wider Culloden Estate and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the manager on duty.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as required by management.
