Under the leadership of our Inspiring Head Chef, Raymond Callaghan, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality. Hours vary, but typical shift patterns include 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, with later hours at the weekend. The rate of pay ranges from £9.55- £12.75ph depending on age. We offer a range of benefits including free staff meals, employee discounts and opportunities for career progression and development.
About The Role
- To ensure that all Kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and presented to the Hastings Standard of Cleanliness and Hygiene.
- To keep all kitchen areas clean. Typical tasks include washing dishes, pots, pans, loading and unloading the dishwasher, emptying, and cleaning bins.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, and mopping floors.
- To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
- To always maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as required by management.
About You
- We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Kitchen Team will provide you with full training.
- Required Criteria: Right to Work in the United Kingdom, Good Command of English Language.
- Desired Criteria: Current food hygiene certificate, Previous experience.
- Skills Needed: Customer Service, Hospitality, Cleaning Skills, Food Production.
