Job Description:
- Beautification and maintenance of resident parkette.
- Maintain the common areas to provide a pleasant environment for residents.
- Painting both interior and exterior.
- Garbage removal, window washing and cleaning washrooms, walls and floors.
- Perform general maintenance activities in and around the Manor.
- Moving equipment and installing as required.
- Local errands to pick up maintenance supplies.
- Be aware of and follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any County Policies.
- Other duties as may be assigned or required from time to time.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Enrolled as post‑secondary student (College/University) and returning to full‑time education at a post‑secondary institution in September 2026.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience in the maintenance or construction field.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must possess a valid “G” license.
- Provide own work boots.
- Police background check required.
- Confidentiality Agreement must be signed.
Work Location: Centennial Manor, Bancroft
Position Length: May 11 – August 28, 2026
