Welcome to Heretaunga, the area renowned for its rich and fertile landscape that is sustained by its life‑giving dews and waterways. We’re looking for an organised and capable Business Support Officer to join our Planning and Regulatory Group on a six‑month fixed‑term basis. This role provides administrative and clerical support across the group, helping teams stay on track, meet timeframes and keep key processes running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing day‑to‑day administrative support across Planning & Regulatory
  • Processing statutory and legal documentation within required timeframes
  • Creating invoices, processing claims, issuing refunds and tracking payments
  • Preparing and maintaining documents, registers and databases
  • Supporting teams during peak workloads and priority periods

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Confidence working in a busy, deadline‑driven environment
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
