Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure security. You will design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures, ensure compliance, and promote security best practices across our Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure Azure cloud architectures.
- Lead security reviews and threat modeling for cloud solutions.
- Implement Azure-native security controls such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and RBAC.
- Define security standards and collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Conduct risk assessments and develop remediation strategies.
- Maintain documentation on security architecture and practices.
- Advise on data protection, identity and access management, and incident response.
- Stay updated on Azure security features, threats, and industry trends.
- Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Security Architect with a focus on Azure security.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services and security features (e.g., NSGs, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, Conditional Access).
- Experience with Azure AD, RBAC, and identity federation.
- Strong understanding of network and application security principles.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, preferably Azure Sentinel.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CIS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (AZ-500, SC-100, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, government).
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
