Motor Claims Engineer- Desktop Locations: National/England – this role will be mostly remote, with an expectation that you\’ll go into one of our offices (London, Leicester, Bexhill) once a quarter. Job Details Being a dependable, vehicle and engineering subject matter expert, contributing where required to support colleagues and knowledge management material Reviewing all vehicle damage repair estimates presented consistently and in a timely manner Investigating and challenging repair estimates where appropriate, ensuring adequate cost control is in place whilst achieving the best customer and commercial outcomes Constructively supporting, investigating and challenging external engineering assessors Supporting, reviewing and undertaking appropriate audit actions on suppliers when required Helping to grow our Engineering capability through identifying opportunities to continuously improve skills, knowledge and processes Skills we would love you to have Proven experience within the motor industry with either bodywork and/or mechanical knowledge Must have experience of using Audatex and Glassmatix estimating systems Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft packages) What we offer Join us and you\’ll find a different way of doing things.
