We’re Hastings Direct, a digital insurance provider focused on delivering excellent customer outcomes and strong commercial performance through a robust building repair network and contractor partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Building Network Manager with the implementation and operational management of the Hastings Building Repair Network.
  • Coordinate and manage contractor onboarding, ongoing assurance requirements, and contractor governance (monthly and quarterly meetings).
  • Organise, coordinate, and attend contractor and industry events as required.
  • Maintain a strong contractor management framework to ensure robust oversight of customer outcomes from contractor services.
  • Use contractor, market, and system MI to analyse operational and commercial performance, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver them to fruition.
  • Collaborate with the contractor network to build relationships and maintain visibility on contractor performance to support improvements.
  • Create and maintain clear network performance reporting for the team and stakeholders, ensuring effective feedback loops and communication.

Qualifications / Essential skills

  • Extensive experience with a national building repair network.
  • Strong knowledge of building repair costs and commercial dynamics within insurance claims.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience of working with MI and translating insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence change.
