Working Hours & Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours per week, including one full weekend shift and one Saturday every five weeks. Weekend shift work is compensated with time off in lieu. Office hours: Monday‑Friday 08:00‑19:00, Saturday 09:00‑17:00, Sunday 09:00‑13:00.
Training & Onboarding: A 12‑week face‑to‑face training programme: the first 8 weeks focus on core learning, followed by continued support through week 12. Upon completion a trainer or team leader signs off before moving to hybrid working and joining the permanent team.
Holiday Allowance During Training: First 4 weeks: one day of holiday permitted. Weeks 5‑12: holiday requests reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
Hybrid Working: Typically one day a week in office, the remainder remote. You may opt to work from office more often. In‑person attendance is required for training and events as needed.
Salary: Starting salary £26,230, rising to £26,550 after training. Further progression up to £29,500 depending on development and commitment.
Location: Leicester office, city centre, close to train station.
Responsibilities: As a New Business Customer Representative you will provide customers with new insurance quotes across car, bike, van, home, or multi‑vehicle policies, give details to enable informed decisions, and, where possible, support customers through the purchase using digital products.
