The starting salary is £27,550 plus benefits. There will be opportunities for further salary progression to £28,800, which can be achieved in as little as 12 months with the right focus on personal development.
Location: Our fantastic Leicester office, which is in the city centre and only a short walk from the train station.
Your role: This role supports both Hastings Direct customers as well as other affected parties when an accident is not their fault. As a Hire Monitor Claims Handler, you will provide vehicle repair and car hire solutions to the non-fault party and provide an excellent customer experience that demonstrates Hastings Direct’s market leading customer service. You will also learn the basic legal liability and insurance indemnity outcomes and how to value/negotiate customer losses to ensure the claims costs are kept to a minimum. You should be comfortable with objection handling and can demonstrate resilience whilst providing an excellent customer experience. You should also be comfortable navigating and utilising multiple IT systems and have experience of working within a similar environment.
