Role overview

We are looking for driven individuals to join our Investigation team as a Claims Triage Investigator. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic fraud team and grow your career! You’ll be handling and reviewing results from anti-fraud controls within the team, as well as investigating and validating claims through thorough investigation. You’ll be gathering intelligence from claimants, companies, representatives and claims to provide background information for the wider Claims Fraud departments.

Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  • Investigating and analysing cases flagged by our fraud database and other software/intelligence gathering systems and assisting with the maintenance/build of rules and alerts that help us to identify and action fraudulent claims and trends
  • Assisting with the production of monthly anti-fraud related reporting and ad-hoc analysis and composing detailed desktop intelligence reports on behalf of the claims fraud teams
  • Working and liaising with other departments and business areas to investigate specific claims as part of our anti-fraud processes
  • Monitoring and analysing current trends and patterns relating to fraudulent activity, reporting any changes
  • Detailed investigations on claimants, claims, companies and representatives using open source and bespoke intelligence gathering systems
  • Creating and maintaining documented procedures relating to anti-fraud processes within the department and how they interlink with other areas and the overall business

Essential skills/experience:

  • Strong proven investigation skills such as law/law enforcement or an existing career within fraud
  • A methodical approach to investigation with the ability to identify potential risks and trends from various sources of information
  • Confidence in decision making, being accountable for the situation and able to communicate this effectively, both verbally and in writing
