Role overview
Reporting into one of our Home Fraud Team Leaders, you\βll tackle a mix of suspected fraudulent claims across contents and buildings insurance. You will work closely with Operational Teams, Suppliers and wider Fraud Teams to identify and respond to fraudulent claims. Your goal is to help Hastings Direct deliver a market leading fraud defence for Household/Home Claims.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of newly identified claims which are of concern, and provide guidance and feedback to the wider teams within Claims
- Conduct investigations on claims where there is a suspicion of fraud
- Conduct desktop investigations, formal interviews, liaise with suppliers and use intelligence solutions systems
- Support the design of relevant fraud processes
- Act as a technical referral point for Home Claims Handlers to support fraud identification
- Tackle a mix of suspected fraudulent claims across contents and buildings
Essential skills/experience
- Has a technical fraud background within insurance or strong experience of household/home/property claims
- Strong overall claims understanding β familiar with the end-to-end claims journey
- Capable of making decisions and challenging the status quo β able to utilise strong communication skills and engage with a varied audience
