Overview: Join our Pricing Academy as a data‑focused analyst and work with statistical modelling, commercial insight, and live business data to influence pricing strategy and improve customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse risk and pricing data, claims experience, and market trends to uncover insights that shape pricing strategy.
- Develop coding and analytical solutions in Python and SQL to deliver innovative solutions and integrate new data sources.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and expand our competitive footprint through pricing and underwriting adjustments.
- Monitor key performance indicators and portfolio analysis to drive decisions.
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and commercial teams to support rate change processes from concept to delivery.
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of projects, presenting findings to senior leaders and driving continuous improvement in pricing models.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working with statistics and data, with an aptitude for learning advanced tools.
- Knowledge or experience with analytical programming environments such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Curious, inquisitive mindset with a proactive approach to driving change and thinking outside the box.
