Join our Unsecured Lending team and be the first point of contact for our customers when they need us the most.**Working Hours/ Shift Patterns:** You will work 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9-5.30. This means, no weekends!**Training:** The core training lasts for the first 4 weeks and is delivered in person at the office.**Our approach to Hybrid Working:** With hybrid working, you have more flexibility, as you usually only have to visit our office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can always opt to work from the office more frequently if that suits you better. When we organise training and events you may be required to attend in person for the duration.**Salary:** The starting salary is £25,500 plus benefits. There will be opportunities for further salary progression which can be achieved in as little as 12-months with the right focus on personal development.**Location:** Our vibrant Bexhill office is located in Collington, right near the seaside. Our customer teams communicate with thousands of customers daily through various channels and delivering the high-quality insurance service they deserve.**Your role:** As a Customer Representative in Lending, you will be responsible for dealing with all inbound customer queries from point of application, through to loan closure, using multiple channels whilst striving to resolve customer queries first time. You will be managing inbound calls & emails, and making outbound calls, as well as helping the wider operations team manage and support the end-to-end customer journey.**What we\’re looking for in a Customer Service Representative*** An underlying focus on Customer Service is essential while being comfortable conversing with customers on the phone and via email.* You will be able to proactively identify process improvements in order to help improve customer and business outcomes.* You will also have a keen eye for detail with a strong problem-solving mindset.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Adept at identifying and dealing with vulnerable customers.* Previous experience of working in a highly regulated environment, like the financial sector, is also desirable.**What we offer:** Join us and you’ll find a different way of doing things.
