Role overview: We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and colleague centric Team Manager who can aid us with our ongoing transformation within Recovery and help us on our journey to become a market leading department. Our Recoveries team has had a phenomenal journey over the last 18 months, growing from a department of 9 to well over 55, with a wide sweep of automation and system/process improvements taking place. We want someone who can support us with the next stage of our transformation - specifically embedding best practice, providing great technical outcomes and delivering best in class engagement scores.
Job details - you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:
- Leading and inspiring a team of 10-14 colleagues within the Recoveries department.
- Setting and managing colleagues annual and monthly objectives and hold monthly 121 meetings to optimise performance.
- Providing monthly coaching and development plans, effective monthly meetings and ensuring each colleague is receiving the right level of support and training.
- Conducting regular audits on colleagues.
- Managing all HR related issues in line with business practice.
- Ensuring colleagues are accurately reserving and payments are authorised in line with business expectations.
- Overseeing guidance and advice in respect of technical referrals.
- Managing departmental/team complaint handling.
Essential skills/experience:
- Previous team management experience.
- Proven track record of driving results.
- Committed to self-development and that of colleagues.
- Excellent commercial awareness and decision-making ability.
- A background of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Good analytical and IT skills.
