Role SummaryWe are looking for a Business Continuity and Resilience Officer to help drive our Operational Resilience Programme. You will work closely with teams across the business to make sure we have solid Business Continuity Plans in place and support broader resilience efforts.
What You Will Be Doing- Working with teams across the business providing guidance and advice to help them create and update Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), making sure they are practical and effective.
- Offering advice and training on what good business continuity looks like.
- Helping map out processes and assess potential customer impact to support our resilience work.
- Leading our network of business continuity champions and making sure they know what is expected.
- Carrying out Due Diligence on third-party suppliers.
- Keeping our policies, standards, and guidance documents up to date.
- Supporting the Senior Operational Resilience Manager and Risk Director to grow and improve our resilience and continuity programmes.
- Experience in business continuity, operational or tech resilience - ideally in UK Financial Services and in a 2nd line or assurance role.
- Good understanding of UK Financial Services regulations.
- Confident reviewing and challenging continuity plans and test outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Great communicator who is comfortable working with people at all levels.
- Able to turn regulatory requirements into clear, practical advice.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and works well independently.
- Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, and risk management tools.
