Operations Analytics Manager – Bexhill, London or Leicester (hybrid)
As our Operations Analytics Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading analytics that drive performance, efficiency and customer outcomes across our Retail Operations. You’ll translate complex operational data into actionable insight that informs decision‑making at both tactical and strategic levels and have line‑management responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality operational analytics, insights, dashboards and performance reporting with a focus on storytelling for stakeholders.
- Deeply understand customer journeys, processes and demand drivers to translate data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate and data‑element of benefit tracking to assess success of initiatives and ROI, acting as a bridge between Retail Operations, Commercial and Digital.
- Support the three‑year plan process, working with Operations, Commercial and Finance to explore opportunities for continuous improvement and process redesign.
- Serve as a trusted analytics partner to operational leaders, presenting evidence‑based insights to influence decisions.
- Manage at least one analyst, setting quality standards and best practice for junior analysts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with large, complex data sets and data visualisation tools (PowerBI) from a senior leadership perspective.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proven people‑leadership experience, with coaching and development of high‑performing teams.
- Clear, confident communicator able to translate complex data into straightforward recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer focus and commercial mindset.
- Experience working in insurance or regulated environments or large customer operations is beneficial.
