Job Details- As a Junior Release Engineer you will be supporting the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines)
- Assisting with deployments across development, test, and production environments
- Collaborating with development and QA teams to deliver new features and releases
- Helping to plan and execute software releases, including rollback processes
- Monitoring deployments and resolving environment-related issues
- Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes
We’re looking for someone with a strong interest in DevOps and a willingness to learn:
- Some experience in an IT, DevOps, or software environment (internship, placement, or junior role)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, ideally Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. Azure Pipelines)
- Exposure to version control systems such as GitHub
- Basic scripting skills (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
- Understanding of web applications and software development fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
