Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time / Weekends
Hours: 37 hours per week on a shift basis (shifts vary but will include weekends).
Responsibilities
- Undertake patrols across the town, including in offâstreet car parks.
- Play a significant role in reducing environmental crime and antiâsocial behaviour.
- Help ensure the town remains a beautiful place to visit and enjoy.
- Work in close partnership with other agencies, including the Police, other council departments, and the local community.
- Support the achievement of Community Safety Accreditation through Sussex Police and work towards maintaining this status.
Qualifications
- Experience working with the public.
- Some form of enforcement experience is an advantage; full training will be offered to the right person.
- Full clean driving licence required.
- Eligible for the Level 4 Antiâsocial Behaviour and Community Safety Officer apprenticeship after the probation period (24âmonth, sectorâspecific program).
- Appointment on the salary scale is dependent on previous experience.
