We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Designer to join a dynamic architectural and design team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality small to medium density residential projects from concept through documentation using Revit. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong architectural background who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for small to medium density residential projects using Revit
  • Develop documentation for DA, CDC, and construction approvals
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, standards, and client requirements
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes
  • Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design standards and Revit best practices

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Building Designer or Architect
  • Proven experience in Revit and other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)
  • Strong background in residential building design, preferably small to medium density projects
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and planning regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Passion for creative, functional, and compliant residential design solutions
