Fabricator Welder – Newburn. Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06:15 – 16:00. Permanent contract. In this role you will join and fabricate metal components using MAG welding techniques, working from technical drawings provided by our in‑house Rail Design Team. Each product must meet quality standards with a “Right First Time” approach.
Responsibilities
- Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specifications
- Read and interpret detailed product drawings
- Deliver high‑quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow works instructions and health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
- Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges
