Part‑time, Fixed‑term (Maternity Cover) – 12–15 hours per week, starting September 2026. Salary £28,221–£34,998 (pro‑rata). We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join us as Careers Lead (Maternity Cover), covering the maternity leave of the substantive post‑holder for up to one year or until her return. The role is part‑time, with 12 hours per week spread over three mornings: two mornings on‑site to engage with students and staff, one morning potentially remote by agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic delivery of our Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) programme across both the Boys’ and Girls’ Schools.
- Coordinate key events such as the Year 12 Work Experience week.
- Oversee the 1:1 programme of careers advice sessions with the external careers advisor.
- Support the Personal Development team by helping students plan and prepare for their futures.
Legal and Safeguarding
The appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
