Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior BIM Modeller, you will work as part of the Mechanical Team to assist in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects. Your duties will include:
- Leading the development of detailed models for mechanical utility systems within maritime environments.
- Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate and coordinated designs.
- Managing and maintaining BIM standards and software component libraries.
- Overseeing clash detection, model audits, and quality assurance processes.
- Mentoring junior modellers and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Planning, organizing, and managing work packages or projects.
- Developing IFC shared parameter files and classification of model elements to IFC schemas.
Candidate Specification:
Haskoning is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Modeller with preferably some knowledge of Mechanical Engineering to join the dynamic team in the Maritime Engineering Services sector.
- The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- A solid understanding of ISO 19650 workflows and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) is required.
- The candidate should have a logical approach to problem-solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to undertake tasks independently and efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with model federation, issue tracking, and clash detection is desirable.
- Preferably, the candidate should have experience in mechanical drawings, pipework, schematics, etc.
