Senior Environmental Consultant (offshore renewables)

Haskoning is the UK's leading environmental offshore wind consultancy, with 20 years of experience supporting our offshore wind clients. Due to an extensive and growing portfolio of offshore wind work, both within the UK and internationally, we are looking to expand our team and are seeking enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented people with excellent communication skills and proven technical ability to join our offshore wind team.

Job Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented person with excellent communication skills and technical ability in relation to the consenting of offshore wind farms, including delivery of EIA and HRAs. In this role, you will assist with the delivery of complex environmental assessment projects, including the coordination of multidisciplinary teams. Your role will involve directly working with clients, problem-solving and representing the company in client offices, regulator and stakeholder meetings.

This role might be right for you if you have:

• Demonstrable experience in the delivery of EIAs and the consenting process, ideally for nationally significant infrastructure schemes and offshore wind.
• Experience in the post-consent project delivery.
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders.
• Robust project management and financial management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
