Principal Environmental Consultant (Terrestrial EIA)

This role will provide you with this opportunity whilst working within a market leading environmental consultancy team.
About Our Environment Advisory Group: Our Environment Group has been providing environmental solutions for our clients for over 30 years in the UK. We offer a comprehensive range of environmental services to support all sizes and types of development.
We specialise in consenting, permitting and licencing support for complex infrastructure developments and operations. We have successfully supported our clients in delivering sustainable projects in sectors including energy, industry, marine development and catchment management.
Due to continued growth in a variety of markets including offshore wind and in the water sector we are looking to grow our team.
Job Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented person with excellent communication skills and technical ability in relation to terrestrial EIA’s and the consenting of onshore infrastructure projects. In this role you will be responsible for the leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams delivering environmental assessment projects.
This role might be right for you if you have:
- Significant experience in the delivery of EIAs and the consenting process
- Significant experience working with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience in post-consent project delivery
- Robust project management and financial management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
